Nothing on this site is pulled from a shelf. Your garment is cut to your individual measurements only after you order.

Because of that, customised and made-to-measure garments cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged, and an order cannot be cancelled once cutting has begun. We will always tell you the date cutting is scheduled, so you know exactly where that line falls.

Fittings are included on every order for precisely this reason — if something is not right at a fitting we correct it at no charge. And none of this limits your rights if a garment is faulty or not as described: we will correct, remake or refund in full.

Whichever size you choose, this garment is cut to your measurements — the size only tells us which block to begin from. Choose Made to Measure if you would rather not pick.

We take eighteen measurements at the atelier or at your home anywhere in Mumbai. Outside Mumbai, our master tailor guides you through it on a video call.

Customisation is delivered in 7 to 10 working days, counted from the day measurements are taken and the cloth is settled.

Some pieces cannot be rushed. Where a garment carries heavy hand embroidery, we say so at the outset, give you a longer date, and keep you updated as the work progresses. You will not be left guessing, and you will not be told late.

Your pattern is drafted individually and the first fitting happens on a partly constructed garment — the point at which real corrections are still cheap. Hand embroidery begins only after the fit is confirmed.

We deliver at least a week before your function, never the night before. Bring the shoes you intend to wear to the final fitting; length cannot be set correctly without them.

Dry clean only, and only with a cleaner who has handled hand embroidery before. Never press directly onto zardozi, dabka or sequin work — press from the reverse, through a cloth.

Store on a broad wooden hanger in a breathable cotton cover. Plastic traps moisture, and moisture is what dulls metal thread.

On colour and on handwork. Cloth is dyed in batches, so two lengths of the same shade can differ slightly, and a screen adds a further 7 to 10% of variation on top of that. Hand embroidery is placed by eye rather than by machine, so no two pieces are ever identical. These are properties of handmade cloth, not faults — but if the exact shade matters to you, ask us for a photograph of the actual roll before you order.
