These are the lighter pieces, for the haldi and the mehendi and for guests sitting through a long day. Cotton silk, chanderi and fine linen, the work kept to the placket, cuffs and hem so the kurta still moves.

Take a shorter length for the mehendi, a longer one for the haldi; churidar or pyjama, jacket optional. Cut to your pattern in 7 to 10 working days.
