Returns & Cancellations

Every garment we make is made to order. Nothing on this site is pulled from a shelf. Cloth is cut to your individual measurements only after you place your order — which is why the policy below is what it is.

Customised and made-to-measure garments

There are no returns, no refunds and no exchanges on any customised or made-to-measure garment.

Once cloth has been cut to your measurements it fits nobody else and has no resale value. This applies to every sherwani, bandhgala, tuxedo, suit and Indo-western piece we cut for you, and to anything made from your own design or reference image.

This is not a way of avoiding responsibility. It is precisely why fittings are included on every order.

Cancellations

An order can be cancelled up to the point cutting begins, and not after:

• Before fabric is purchased — cancel and we refund what you have paid, less any consultation already used.
• After fabric is purchased, before cutting — we refund your payment less the cost of the fabric, which cannot be returned to the mill.
• Once cutting has begun — the order cannot be cancelled and no refund is possible.

We will always tell you the date cutting is scheduled, so you know exactly where that line falls.

If the fault is ours

Nothing above limits your rights where a garment is defective, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality.

If a garment does not match what was agreed, is faulty, or does not fit correctly despite your having attended your fittings, we will correct it at our cost. If it cannot be corrected, we will remake it or refund you in full. This is not time-limited and it does not depend on how you paid.

Fittings are the safeguard

Two fittings are included on every garment, three on full-canvas tailoring. The first happens on a partly constructed garment, while corrections are still straightforward. Hand embroidery begins only once the fit is confirmed.

Please attend your fittings. They are how we make sure the finished piece is right, and they are included in the price.

Ready-to-wear

Where a piece is sold ready-to-wear rather than made to measure, it may be returned unworn, unaltered and with tags intact within 7 days of delivery.
